How do you know that you bought a real tamagotchi?
Many times on ebay, sales pages and business people will tell you that they are selling a real Tamagotchi. The only way to see if it's a real Tamagotchi is to look on the back of the tamagotchi. Usually it will be listed on the back cover and it will say bandai. If it does not, than its most likely you are holding a fake. Also, try to see if you still have the package that the tamagotchi it came in. The company Bandai will have the name listed for you to view somewhere on the package. Don't have the package? Also, another way to tell if its a real tamagotchi is to see if it has three buttons, and if it connects with other real tamagotchis. It is not easy to tell if yours could be real.
Fakes tend to be Virtual pets that DO NOT list Bandai or their company on the package or toy. Also, some fakes copy the tamagotchi by adding a button but look exactly the same. Many do not work, and the rest do and brake later on. Those Tamagotchis usually come out of Hong Kong HK factories. Also, they appear to have strange and unusual shapes. Some will be shapped like ducks, and some similar to circles and squares. Most of them do not have reset buttons, and if they do, they do not work. Its not worth buying them, but if you are a collector and you are not worried, go right ahead.

In this section i will be reviewing the Diet Tamagotchi Virtual Pet. This is a Japanese Humanoid pet found in Japan. When i purchased these when i had more than three, i got it wildly opening up the package. The package is very hard, and which it was kept in solid condition, and i managed to get to the virtual pet just in time. The Diet Virtual pet is shapped almost like a gigantic jelly bean with a key chain and three buttons sticking out. I pulled the tab out looking at a person and then looking at a weight scale that pops up on the screen. for this, you can set your human to any weight. Also you can make your human fat, tall, skinny, huge, etc. You also have to choose the gender which it thought was cool. After selecting the choices of what my human was going to look like i chose mail. I wanted to see if this wimpy humanoid could pass even a day!! As you play with it, the Human does not hatch from an egg, nor coming from a womans belly. The Human appears alive as an adult instantly after you choose its gender. As you look at your human whether if its fat or skinny, you will pause and notice there are NO icons located on the screen. Believe it or not, there are none!! one button makes it all and that appears to be button number 1 as known as button A. press it 2-3 times and you will pop up to a arm icon, and from there you can check out all your different features. Its really hard to understand for the first 5 hours. If you are not interested in the arm as i was, you can scroll to other icons like games, foods, training, fun. Iiked the virtual pet overall. The worst thing about it was that it took me 5-12 hours to figure it out including the Japanese instructions. What i loved most was that it featured a game using all three buttons and like most vpets they only seem to use A, and B buttons. As you see there are pictures at the top. Also my camera wasn't working at it doesn't program into my computer. so this was the only photo i could find. I am not appart OR own Nippon Deals.

Next i will be reviewing the Mothra Tamagotchi. The day i recieved my Mothra Tamagotchi i was over excited to play with it. I just got it before my huge vacation in late July. As i got it i ripped open the package leaving minor marks on the package and held the Mothra Tamagochi in my hands, by the keychain, with the tag inside the toy. I yanked it out and an egg appeared. As i set the time and 5 minutes flew by my Mothra hatched!! it was about 10 days later that i felt bored with the Tamagotchi. First, i got the same characters, and i brought this on vacation. Because i was were i was during the vacation, believe it or not because of the extreme weathers my Mothra Tamagotchi started melting!! First the design and the back side of the tamagotchi. It was scary. I love Mothra, and i do miss it. I felt like i didn't give it enough time. The Mothra is really easy to take care of. the only serious thing you have to watch out for is its hunger. The game is also very important to Mothra because it keeps her busy during the time when you are not doing anything. The Mothra is very needy. What i love most about the Mothra Tamagotchi is that it is not hard to lose the games, and Mothra doesn't die that often. What i hate about it is that it gets mad more than two-three times a day.

Next will be reviewing the Genjitch Tamagotchi. The Genjitch is also known for the name Caveman Tamagotchi as it sets back to when the life of Cavemen were alive. This Tamagotchi happens to be one of my favorite Tamagotchis because when i was little i always thought there were cavemen or cavemen like creatures wherever i went. That was me and 8 years back!! Genjitch is a popular and rare tamagotchi. I have seen these Tamagotchis go by fast on the internet. They are fun, and i regret selling mine, but i did have to make money at that point. Hint-so NOT sell yours unless you hate Cavmen and life. Also as you play the game on Genjitch there is a fun little tune song before you can start playing which i think is extremely creative!! The day before i sold it i was saying goodbye, i reset it and set the time, and as it hatched a few minutes later into a Mammoth shaking its head. i was not able to control the Mammoth and then it evolved into a fish. NO KIDDING!! IT REALLY TURNED INTO A FISH FROM OCEAN TAMAGOTCHI!! THE ADULT CHARACTER THAT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET TO!! I love Genjitch. i reccomend it forever!! Next i will be talking about Ocean Tamagotchi. The Ocean Tamagotchi has two versions. The Japanese verison and the American Version. The rarest of all is the American Version. The Japanese versions aren't as rare because they are not as popular. The Ocean Tamagotchi is known to be the hardest Tamagotchi to take care of. After minutes of constantly looking after it, the next minute you look away its dead!! Great job..NOT!! Very few owners of the Tamagotchi Ocean rarely get to see the adult. I am going to take the challenge myself as i take a 17 hour flight and a 10 hour train ride. Hopefully i can get it to an adult character by then. The American Version is really rare because of its designs. The Japanese Version Tamagotchi oceans are a tiny bit less harder than the American ones. It is still very hard. The Hard thing about it is that people put trash in the ocean...not. (that is a true fact but not for ocean tamagotchi) it is because of the polar bear that constantly looks for fish to eat. Overall ocean would be my favorite. f i am on vacation in Australia or at Stinson beach California it reminds me of Ocean Tamagotchi. I only know one person in Tamagotchi ocean history that has made it to Adult stage but it just died then. It really seems like this is a whole battle of who's will survive the most and the longest!!

The next tamagotchi is Angel Tamagotchi. Angel Tamagotchi also comes in two versions just like the Ocean Tamagotchi. American and Japanese Version. The American Version i think is a boring version of the japanese version. The only thing i do not like about the JP version is that the instructions are written in Japanese. Also have you noticed if you compared an Angel Tamagotchi USA version to a JP Angel Tamagotchi its way bigger?! It is true!! The American Version has angel power and something else. I think that they are nearly the same. But you know what I say!! "the more, the better, the same, the more similar, and it copies!!"

Next i will be writing about the Santa Tamagotchi. It only comes in one version. i think one version is plenty. It is Japanese. If there was an american one, the screen would probably list plenty of Egg Nog, and cookies. Yummy but not for Tamagotchi. The goal for santa tamagotchi is for you to deliver presents to Tamagotchis who are asleep. This Tamagotchi is extremely rare and expensive. If you are lucky you may find the Santa Tamagotchi to be around $100. Usually they are priced at $200 each. They come in three colors. Red, White, Green. Green happens to be the loudest, second the red, and last is white. Tip-get a red or white. i heard the green is painful when it beeps for attention. The characters in Santa Tamagotchi or called Santaclautchi do not evolve like the other tamagotchis. Apparently you need to use items that are on the toy on an icon to change your character. Apparently my friend Erica posted the videos of all 3 colors of the tamagotchi santas onto youtube where you can see her tips, and rules of playing the games!
